ADS THAT DON’T LOOK LIKE ADS

People hate being sold to. We all do. As soon as your audience feels like you’re just trying to sell them a product, they’ll tune out. That’s when their guard goes up and their subconscious brain will start discrediting everything they’ve just been told, and their gut reaction will be to carry on scrolling.  The more your ad blends with your audience’s social media feed, the lower your acquisition costs will be.

A message from our Founder

The trust between E-commerce brands and marketing agencies is at an all-time low. 

First of all, just know, I get it. I started my career building and scaling my own E-commerce brands. I remember when it was just me handling logistics, supplier issues, customer service as well as all of the marketing for my brand.

I got my business to $45K per month in just a few months running my own ads on social media. You can imagine what that did to the ego of a young 21 year old.

As you can see…
Now… I remember my thought process vividly. 

If I’ve scaled to $45K per month, then surely, I can just partner with a marketing agency, i.e. experts, and they’ll take me from $45K per month to $450K per month.

Logical, right?

Not at all.

First of all, there’s no getting away from it. I was naive and needed an ego check.

Working with the first marketing agency sobered me up, quickly. In the first month, our results were the exact same. I optimistically swallowed the retainer costs as they explained I am not to worry, and that this is all part of the testing period.

In month 2, revenue and profit took a hit.

Month 3, even worse.

Worst of all, this agency was charging a % of ad spend, and wanting me to spend more, no surprise there.

Call me foolish… But, I actually went through this with another 2 agencies. 

Nobody was able to match the results that I was getting on my own, let alone help me scale.

When things got really bad, I remember being told that there was a festival that somehow was impacting my entire market’s buying behaviour. Seriously.

Here’s the silver lining.

Some agencies are actually really fucking good. 

Don’t mistake marketing for being able to set up a campaign.

What makes you different?

We’ve worked with agencies in the past for our own E-commerce brands prior to ORIRI. There are a lot of differences, we’re not just saying that. First of all, you will not get passed over to a junior account manager. Working with the ORIRI team means that you get to interact directly with the person managing your ads, the person responsible for driving your content strategy and engage directly with our Founder. We also don’t focus on reporting vanity metrics. Our goal is not to get the highest arbitrary number on a screen, we’re hired to tangibly grow brands and that’s what we do.

How much do your services cost?

All brands are different. We don’t have a blanket solution that we roll out to brands regardless of their needs and bottlenecks. Our first step is to understand what is stopping you from scaling. Specifically; understanding what is preventing you from acquiring new customers profitably enough for you to scale. Once we know that, we’ll be able to recommend a tailored solution based on what you need as opposed to ‘throwing the kitchen sink at you’. We’ll be able to go through the exact pricing and what is included in our recommended strategy in our Strategy Session / Discovery call.

How long does it take to get results?

All brands are different. Different audiences, product-market fit, previous data, pricing etc. What is a scaleable acquisition cost will depend on your gross margins. Some brands are in a position to scale from the jump, others require more testing to find further efficiencies before we add budget to our campaigns. Generally, we aim to have accounts in a position to scale within the first 8 weeks.

Who makes the content?

We handle content end-to-end. If you already have a content team, we’ll supply regular briefs and detail what we need to achieve scale. Otherwise, we’ll create the briefs, film with our own actors/creators, and edit into the optimal structure for acquiring new customers through paid advertising.

Who owns the content?

We make content with the sole purpose of acquiring new customers efficiently and scaling your brand. That said, brands often repurpose this content and post it on their website and social media. You own the rights to the content and it is yours to do as you please.
